Sita, Germany
UN humanitarian worker
German partner
Mother of three children, ages 8, 6 and 4-years-old
“If I were asked, I would say that my children and my family were my priorities in life, but I would probably be deceiving myself a little. Work is
a big part of my life and if I think about my and my family’s day-to-day schedule, my life is shaped by it. It also takes a lot of my thinking. Sometimes I work at weekends and I could, of course, decide not to, but
I feel I have to and so I do! I would like to influence my children’s world view more by just spending more time with them on a daily basis. That’s one
of the things I feel I’m possibly missing out on.”
